Always the good mother, Kate Hudson was seen out in Santa Monica, California yesterday on September 22 picking up her son Ryder from school.

Kate seemed to be in a good mood as she held on to her son yesterday afternoon while she shared a laugh with him. And like always, Kate made sure to look fashionable, wearing a beige top and jeans as she and her son walked to her car.

Last weekend, Kate enjoyed a bike ride with her boyfriend Matthew Bellamy and her parents. As for her work, she’s continuing to film her new movie “Something Borrowed”, which will hit theaters next year in 2011.
